The Valentine is a typewriter produced by Olivetti and designed in 1968 by Ettore Sottsass together with Perry A. King and Alberto Leclerc. It is considered one of the greatest icons of industrial design.
The importance of the Valentine is highlighted by its presence, since the early 1970s, in the permanent collection of the MOMA in New York, as well as by its inclusion in exhibitions on Italian and international design around the world. It is also part of the permanent collection of the Triennale Museum in Milan, Italy.
It comes complete with an extra box closure rubber seal and fabric tape.
