Extremely rare collectible music box from the Twergi line, designed by maestro Ettore Sottsass for Alessi during the late 1980s and early 1990s. This exquisite piece masterfully blends the traditional woodturning craftsmanship of the Strona Valley with the geometric, Post-Modern aesthetics of the Memphis movement. The lid features the zodiac symbol for Capricorn, enclosing a perfectly working vintage musical mechanism inside. A highly coveted item for design collectors, virtually impossible to find in this state.
This item is New Old Stock (NOS) and is in pristine, mint condition. The wood retains its original, vibrant factory color, having never been exposed to sunlight. Complete with its original vintage packaging.
