Set of 2 Black Table-Mates Placemats with Silver Decor – Gaetano Pesce for Fish Design

A striking set of 2 black placemats with silver decorations, conceived by the genius of radical design Master Gaetano Pesce in 1995 and crafted in this special series in 2012 for Fish Design. Every piece in this lot tells a story of craftsmanship and innovation: any slight differences in shape, as well as minor visual texture imperfections, are not flaws but distinctive features highlighting their absolute uniqueness, resulting from the manual artisanal casting of the flexible polyurethane resin. A true piece of postmodern art for the table, ideal for design collectors and connoisseurs.

Fair vintage condition. The items are structurally perfect but show surface scratches from use and time, completely consistent with its age and the glossy nature of the resin.
