Fuoco Table Lamp – Gaetano Pesce for Meritalia

Rare Collector's Item – Out of Production – Excellent Condition with Original Box.

Add an icon of Italian radical design to your collection. Designed by master Gaetano Pesce in 2007 for Meritalia, the Fuoco table lamp is much more than a lighting fixture: it is a conceptual sculpture, an artistic provocation, and a piece of contemporary design history, now out of production and highly sought after. Crafted in Pesce's unmistakable style, the lamp takes the form of a stylized small house made of resin.

Engraved on the roof of the structure is the designer's famous, provocative statement: "L'architettura astratta ripetitiva standard globalizzante è legna da ardere?" (Is repetitive, standard, globalizing abstract architecture firewood?).

Once turned on, the internal bulb simulates the glow, flicker, and warmth of a real domestic fire, transforming the object into a vibrant light installation.

Excellent aesthetic and functional condition. The item is shipped in its original period box signed Meritalia (Dead Stock), which increases its valuation over time. Meritalia brand mark and Gaetano Pesce's signature are embossed directly onto the structure.

Following Gaetano Pesce's passing in 2024, the market value of his out-of-production historical works has been steadily rising, making this lamp an excellent long-term investment.
