A stunning two-tone set (one white piece and one blue piece) belonging to the famous "La Tavola di Babele" collection by Officina Alessi. Originally designed in 1972 by the Master Enzo Mari, this iconic object stands out for its double and ingenious function: on one side it is a refined egg cup, while upside down it transforms into an elegant candle holder.
The set consists of two pieces in melamine, both in excellent vintage condition.
Both elements bear the hallmark of authenticity on the base and are preserved inside their original period box. A piece of history of Italian rationalist design, ideal for collectors or as an art gift.
