The tray is made of fireclay and decorated entirely by hand using the characteristic stencil-engraving technique. The spherical surface features alternating horizontal bands of embossed geometric motifs (interlaced friezes, dots and vertical lines). The vibrant colour scheme combines the iconic shades of cobalt blue, turquoise and sea green beneath a glossy crystalline finish that lends the object an extraordinary lustre and chromatic depth.
